Currently the Xbox360 games are selling at $59.99, the most expensive ever. Now EB Games, OverStorck and BestBuy (among others) are selling games at a much more affordable $39.99. At the moment the list isn’t as long as many wished, but it’s a start.

In the UK, games will retail at £39.99, almost US$74. Current games priced at £49.99 in the UK cost a whopping US$95. The Brittish are certainly the ones paying the high price and that will continue with the PlayStation 3, going for $800 this November.

Armoured fury information

EA has released screenshots of their next booster pack for Battlefield 2, Armoured Fury.

• Operation Midnight Sun: The conflict spreads near the Pacific Ocean in a key battle for the Alaskan port of Valdez, where Chinese forces are attempting to secure much-needed fuel from the pipeline.
• Operation Harvest: The MEC army begins their march East towards the U.S. Capital, and American forces must stall the advance long enough for reinforcements to arrive.
• Operation Road Rage: The MEC forces have infiltrated deep into the USA, and are using the highways to move quickly towards key industrial sites that are dangerously near civilian areas.

Were you dissapointed by the last booster pack, Euro Forces? I sure was, along with 80% of everyone else that spent $10 on 3 maps. I sense that very few are gonna go for the next tiny expansion from EA. We’ll see.
